Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
On your arrival to Kathmandu, you will be received by our representative who will guide you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Sight Seeing in Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, you will be guided through the details of the trek. The representative will guide you through the preparations of the necessities for the trek.
After the session, you will be guided throughout the Kathmandu Valley for sightseeing. You will visit major historical, cultural and religious centers of Kathmandu valley including Swayambhunath Temple (The Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa and Pasupatinath Temple.
Day 3: Drive to Pokhara
The next morning, you will be picked up by our representative who will be your guide throughout your trek from your Hotel. After breakfast, the drive to Pokhara will begin. You will reach to Pokhara within 7 hours. After your arrival to Pokhara, you will be guided to your hotel. You can also enjoy the evening views of the lakes and the night lights of Pokhara.
Day 4: Drive to Nayapul and start trek to Tikhe Dhunga
Starting the third day, you will be driven to Nayapul, 45.4 km away from Pokhara which will take around an hour and a half from the Pokhara Lakeside. You will pass through Phedi, Kande, Naudada and Lumla all the while surrounded by the fantastic views of the mountain ranges.
After arriving at Nayapul, you will begin your trek towards Tikhe Dhunga. As one of the common trekking routes, it connects many other popular trails of Annapurna region. Passing through Birethani, Sudame and Hile and situated at an altitude of 1480m above sea level, the trek to Tikhe Dhunga will take 4-5 hours.
Day 5: Tikhe Dhunga to Ulleri to Ghorepani
The trail from Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani provides the spectacular view of Mt. Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Range. Further, the forest of Rhododendron added to the breathtaking views of Mt. MAchhapuchhre and Hiunchuli will provide you the unforgettable trekking experience. The trail is about 12 km long and will take around 6-7 hours.
Day 6: Morning hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani
The best attraction of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is the Sunrise view with the panoramic view of the mountain ranges. The morning hike to Poon Hill will take around 4-5 hours and will offer you the sunrise view over the ranges of snow-capped mountains.
After hiking down to Ghorepani after the sunrise view at Poonhill, you will start your trek towards Tadapani. The trail will pass through the colorful forest of pine and rhododendron trees. The overnight stay will be at a guest house in Tadapani.
Day 8: Tadapani to Ghandruk
Starting the next day, you will descend towards Ghandruk. The melodic chirping of the birds will revitalize you further as you trek your way through the rhododendron and Oak forest. The trek will take 3-4 hours. In Ghandruk, you will be greeted by the beautiful village of the Gurung Communities which is also a home to many Gorkha Soldiers. You will be guided through the exploration of the beautiful village. The overnight stay will be at a guest house in Ghandruk.
Day 9: Ghandruk to Pokhara
The next day, you will make your way back to Pokhara descending from Ghandruk all the way to Kimchi and crossing Seulibazzar. The trek will be about 4-5 hours up to Nayapul from Ghandruk. From Nayapul, you will be driven back to Pokhara will take around 2 hours. The overnight stay will be at a guest house in Pokhara.
Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu
The next day, you will be driven back to Kathmandu from Pokhara after breakfast which is around 7-8 hours of drive. On your arrival to Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will have the option of enjoying the evening with your group.
Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu
On the last day, you will be guided towards the airport for your return to your home.
